About my work :
Eclectic and intuitive are the best ways to describe my work.
Having had a broad range of training which includes several styles of massage both Eastern and Western.
It is a combination of techniques ranging for a very scientific anatomical balancing, the mystical systems of Chinese meridians, to luxury relaxation massage typical to world-class day spas.
The styles of massage I'm familiar with :
Connective Tissue ( deep tissue massage)
Mio facial tissue surrounding every muscle in the body creates a web of interrelations.
Adhesions and lactic acid blocks in these fibers can be released by this slow, deeply penetrating massage.
Trigger Point Therapy is a system of releasing the excess energy in the muscles by holding points of pressure to open synaptic gates.
Shiatsu is a Japanese traditional healing art
Based on the energy meridians in the body.
Swedish massage is a relaxing and nurturing
With long rolling strokes, and a soft caress, if you are sensitive to pressure and the good pain is not for you, then there is Swedish, which just makes you feel nice.
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi
Deep long body strokes using the elbow and forearm up and down in patterns particular to the traditional Hawaiian method.
